Sweet suprise

As I was on my way to Tulsa to attend a Women of faith conference, I came across a Cd in my little red tote bag I had brought my clothes in.  It  wasn't labeled so I had know idea what it was.  I asked a friend to put it in the Cd in the player to see if it was some good music.  It didn't play anything so I knew it must have been blank or it might be some pictures.  So, when I got home I was curious to see what it was.

When I pulled it up on my computer, I had a very pleasant surprise waiting for me! It was some beautiful pictures that my little sister Haley had taken on our girls trip to Cannon Beach, Oregon.  We went back in July of 09 and I had just found out I was pregnant with my sweet Sam.  It was just me, my mom, and my two sisters that went on this trip.  It was Very special to me!  My mom and Haley live in Chicago  and my sister Kristal lives in Seattle with her hubby.  We don't get to see each other often and it was a very big deal for me to be able to go.  My sweet hubby had taken off work and took the girls to the lake so I could just enjoy this very special time with my girls.  Cannon Beach is a very near and dear to my heart.  Me and my mama and sisters spent many Summer's there together while I was growing up.

I have been waiting for the day when I could share this very special place with my kiddo's.  The time has come now and I can't wait! We are headed there soon. We are very blessed to be able to go on such a special trip.  Just me and my precious family.  No work, school, homework, chores, etc.  Just us making some wonderful memories!

Here are a few pic's I found on my Cd.  Enjoy!

Love this pic!  I was so proud I was going to be a mama again.

I remember taking this stunning pic of my sisters.  Brings tears to my eyes...

LOVE this one!  I had know idea she took this pic.

It was such a gift to find these pics!  I hope you find happiness today...

Do you believe in miracles? I do...

Something very exciting happened this weekend for my Sam.  He got to have some special one on one time with his Meme and Papa.  Saturday was the 1st time my mother and father in- law got to watch their sweet grand baby for the afternoon.

You see, our family had our world turned upside down when we found out my precious mother in-law was diagnosed with stage three esophageal cancer.  I was Very pregnant with my baby boy and I was devastated!  I didn't know if Kathy would ever get to know my precious son.  She has always been there for all her grand babies.  She was even in the room with me and my hubby when I delivered our daughters. She was also very helpful when we brought our girls home.  None of this was going to happen when I had Sam.  She was having a PET scan when I delivered him.  My sweet hubby had her on speaker phone so she could hear him being born.  My emotions were going crazy!  I was so happy I had delivered my son, safe and sound, but I was also very sad for Kathy.  It was a very hard time for us.  Thank goodness I have great friends and family that helped us out when I had Sam.  Kathy couldn't even come to the hospital to see us.  Her little immune system was so down that the Dr. would not let her come.  It was such a hard time for her.  All she wanted to do was hold her precious blessing.  We left the hospital within 24 hours because I had a drug free birth and I recovered Very quickly.  (I'll talk about that more in another post).   My in-laws came over when we got home to visit Sam for the 1st time before they left for MD Anderson in Houston.  She had to go though many difficult  chemo and radiation treatments before her surgery in July.  The Dr's didn't know if she would make it! I have never prayed so hard in my life!  As a christian woman, I KNOW that GOD is the Great Physician and can perform miracles!  And he did!  Kathy got through her surgery and is cancer free!  She is getting stronger every day!  She has had a few set backs but for all that she has been through, she is doing great!

So, now you understand what a big deal this is for my sweet baby boy!   I believe in miracles!  I hope you do too!  I snapped a few darling pics of them together.  I hope you enjoy!

Here we go...

I have wanted to start a blog for awhile now, but I didn't know where to start.  I thought I might start out by telling you why I'm such a busy little housewife...  This is my family.  I love them so much!  My hubby describes me as the "chief operating officer"  of our family.  I couldn't agree more.  Let me start off by telling you what an amazing and sweet hubby I have.  He supports me 100% in everything that I do.  He provides for our family so I can be a stay at home mama.  I love him so much!  God has blessed us with three of the most precious children.  My girls are six and four and our little guy is six months old.  This is why I'm so busy.  They can drive me nut's sometimes but I wouldn't change it for the world!

Yesterday we had a super busy day!  We went to church, my nieces birthday party, Disney on Ice and then the fair.  It was CRAZY!  We had a really fun day though.  The girls were really good and Mr. Sam did amazing!  Here are a few pics of our adventure to the fair.

First, we went to ride the camel.  The girls look forward to this every year.  Taylor was so excited she got to ride him all by herself.

Aubrey wanted to ride the pony.  His name was Mickey.  She was very proud that I didn't stand beside her this year.  She's getting so big!  Sigh...

Then we went to Disney on ice.  It was so dark I couldn't get any pics to come out.  It was really fun though.  The girls loved it and Sam did too!  My little guy was such a good boy during our crazy, busy day!

My happy boy!

My hubby enjoying some delicious corn.

Love Dan's Indian Taco's!  Yum...

Sweet pic of Taylor waiting in line for a ride.  Did I mention how much we love the fair!

Aub's is a nut!  I wonder where she gets that from!

LOVE this pic of Aubrey and her daddy.  They were watching Taylor on a ride.  So sweet!

BLESSED!

Many more adventures to come...

By the way, my grammar stinks, so please try to look past it.  Thank goodness my pics are a little better than my writing.  Feel free to comment or ask questions.  I would love to hear from you.
